Summary

Profile

I work best where the problem is technically awkward, operationally urgent, or stalled by unclear ownership. I focus on outcome: diagnose the real bottleneck, design a workable path, and deliver a production-ready system that reduces operational friction.

I bring deep media and post-production workflow experience across ingest, proxy generation, transformation pipelines, metadata handling, and delivery constraints for professional formats and wrappers. Alongside that, I build containerised platforms and service architectures designed for maintainability, observability, and controlled rollout.

I am comfortable operating as a standalone technical owner or embedding with larger teams when a project needs someone to bridge engineering, infrastructure, workflow, and domain-specific media tooling.

Legacy stack experience includes PHP, SilverStripe, MySQL, and related migrations or integrations, but these are no longer my primary positioning focus.

Independent Delivery

I can own problem diagnosis, architecture, delivery, and rollout when teams need one technical lead.

Media Workflow Depth

I understand both software architecture and the practical behaviour of real media assets, formats, wrappers, and downstream delivery expectations.

Pragmatic Tooling

I choose tooling for reliability and fit, balancing open-source strengths with licensed SDKs where they are required.
